Not yet, Its still on the engine stand. Just finished putting on balance shaft seals, new belts, and waiting on clutch ( should be here in the am). Plan to put it in the car this weekend (if clutch arrives). So I have all the fun that you have had waiting for me. Thanks for the info about the externals. Will let you know if it starts right up, (there is always that one in a million chance) .

How did you make out with your car, did it start for you. Work keeps getting in the way of working on the car,and just about everything else,so i haven't had any time to look at my own,but I hope you got yours going.

I know what you mean, I got caught up with something else also, but now I only have the exhaust pipe, plug the DME in, and the rad to fill and I can find out about starting. Hopefully be on the road Saturday. I'll let ya know.

Well, it started right up, which was nice. The temperature sensor for the temp gauge isnt working. I must have gotten it on the wrong post. That will only take an hour or two to fix. Took about 30 minutes to get lifters pumped up, but it runs. I am not sure that I am getting all the HP I should, but the higher compression may need better gas. Let me know how yours comes out.

WELL HERE I AM AGAIN. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A COMBINATION OF DIFFERENT THINGS. THE FIRST PROBLEM WAS THE INJECTORS, THEY WERE GUMMED UP AND NOT OPENING,AND THE SECOND PROBLEM WAS THE TWO DME'S I HAD WERE BOTH DEFECTIVE (WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF THAT.). I PULLED THE INJECTORS OUT AND SOAKED THEM FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS, PUT THEM IN AND IT FIRED FOR A SHORT TIME.....THEN DIED. TRIED TO GET IT GOING, AND AFTER AWHILE IT FIRED AGAIN. I RAN THE CAR AROUND TOWN FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, SHUT IT DOWN AND RESTARTED IT SEVERAL TIMES NO PROBLEM. AT THIS POINT I THOUGHT IT WAS FIXED,,,,,WRONG.... NEXT MORNING,NO START. READING ON CLARKS SOMEONE SUGESTED TO SOMEONE ELSE TO TRY STARTING THE CAR AND HITTING THE DME AT THE SAME TIME, IT WORKED, ONCE THE CAR STARTED I HIT ON IT AGAIN AND IT CAUSED THE CAR TO DIE AGAIN, DID THIS SEVERAL TIMES IN TOTAL DISBELIEF, AND WENT AND GOT THE 2ND DME AND GUES WHAT. LUCKLY I NEW WHERE TO GET ANOTHER AND ITS WORKING FINE NOW.
THANKS TO ALL WHO TRIED TO HELP,HOPE I CAN BE OF HELP TO ANY THAT NEED IT.
