Hmmm good question, i have never had to replace the other end of the clip.
So now all of a sudden, nothing is working? lol. I guess i would try the climate control unit next. You should be able to pick up a good used one on ebay pretty cheap. |
Thanks doc.
Looks like I probably will be trying to get a climate computer. I'll let you know if I ever get this fixed. lol..... |
Hi everybody
Hey I fixed part of the problem and you never would have guessed what it was.... It turns out that the G14 (ignition relay) was a little loose and just jiggling it fixed the blower motor problem. I'm still looking at the heating issue as that is still a problem. I can come up with a fix for the other end of that arm, but I think that the arm itself may be somehow jammed or frozen. I'm thinking I'll take apart a few things and see if the door might be stuck somehow. This is good as I really really don't want to have to buy a new computer for that. Oh and I had a thought on the intermittent heat issue. Somebody said that intermittent heat may be caused by the internal air temp sensor being dirty, is this correct. I heard that this is a pain to fix. Any advice on that? Ok, thanks for your thoughts. Any other ideas?? Cheers... Garren |
Hi..
Thanks for your help. Problem fixed. I took care of that broken relay and both clips on that lever arm are repaired. I found a smally metal clip at my local auto parts store that was close enough. My long standing heater issue looks like its finally gone. YAY...... |
