Default changing the heater core in a 85.5 944 NEED HELP!

hi, i need your help. i need to change the heater core in my 944. i got pretty much everything off the dash but still cant get it out. anyone know how to do this? detailed instructions would be much apreaciated. thanks

maybe its not even the heater core....it wont blow any hot air even when the engine temp is good and warm. any ideas what it could be?

Is it leaking water? If not it is probably a stuck (closed)heater valve.

Check your heater control valve or the heater controls. The heater control unit that the cables clip into will get brittle over time and break, thus the cables don't move when you move the lever. I highly doubt there is a problem with the heater core.
