Default Headlights / Fuses

Hi everyone,

Recently bought a 84, 944.

Absolutely no prolems with it at all until the other night. lights came up, went on, perfect.

Got home lights on okay, but wouldn't go down or rather one went down more than the other. Now it looks quite sad and althought the bulbs are working they aren't moving at all.

I'm thinking fuse, but looked at a diagram which may not be correct so was wondering... does anyone have a diagram of which fuses are which ?

Is it something else ?

Has anyone had similar problems ?

Thanks a lot in advance

Karl

The 2 headlights are controlled by one motor, on the passenger side. A bar runs from the passenger side to the drivers side and controls that light going up or down. If they are not at the same level, then check that linkage. Also, there is a relay on the side of the motor you may want to check and see that it has not worked its way loose. I dont have a early fuse box diagram handy at the moment, i will see if i can figure out which fuse controls the motor.

ok it is fuse #1 in the auxillary fuses, and is a 16amp fuse.
