Default Help with 953-Need CHD Momo steering wheel

I've been able to cannabilize parts from a 951 (LHD) and a 952 (RHD). My wife loves to drive as much as me and I'm looking to make a hybrid 953 with a centralized wheel (CHD) so we can share those rare Porsche moments. It's about done except for finding a place for the shifter and pedals. To be fair should I split them up so one of us shifts and one of us does the pedals or is that too hard. Any help at this final crux would be greatly appreciated. It's so good to see a Forum that likes to think outside the box,. I won't mention names but my idea was not well received on the other big forum. They nearly made me cry with their bitter jealousy of my plan.

Most of the time trying to do a Central is too time consuming and expensive. But I beleive that with the excess of Porsche parts and your determination to do this you will be very successful in your project. My advice is to forhet the pedals and go to hand controls. They are easier and faster and then you could play footsies with your wive and drive at the same time. As for the shifter. Two words: Paddle shifters.

Cool..Now I can cut out that stupid tunnel and make room for the 8-track changer and play my guitar easier waiting at lights. Thanks, I'm so glad I'm finally getting some fresh ideas.

yeah, and the rates for porsche owners who have sex should sky rocket if enough people see this and this mod catches on.

Maybe a group buy is in order????
