Default High pressure, leaking oil around gasket.

ok, im baffled. I placedin a new oil/collant gasket hoping to correct a leak. It slowed it down, but it did not stop it. Iv noticed that my pressure is always 5 on the guageor better and never drops. Is this normal?. My experience with american made cars is that pressure ususally drops as RPM's drop. could the high pressure relief valve malfunction? Any help would be great!!!!!

Pressure will be pegged at 5bar for about 20 minutes of driving, then it should fluctuate between 2-5bar when driving, depending on RPM.
