Ok here is the deal...my 84 944 idles around 1100 normally (lil high)...sometimes and I mean sometimes when I drive on the highway rfor a while then come to a stop at the bottom of an exit ramp the car idles strange...it keeps bouncing between 800 and 1200 (not just the needle I can hear it as well). The minute the fan kicks on it stops and goes back to its normal 1100. It really is a minor nuciance....but I do not want it to turn into a bigger one.

Any ideas what it could be?? Any posts would be much appreciated...

PS...teh 993 rims look SICK on my car...I bought hub extenders and put the rims on yesterday...unreal what a difference it made to the look of the car. Thanks for all the help with teh rims!!
