Default Immobilising Immobiliser!

Here's a problem I hope my fellow 944 owners across the pond can help with. When I use my immobiliser fob the system beeps three times indicating the engine is ready to go as usual, however it will not crank. When I disconnect the battery and re-connect I get one go to start the car. If I then stop it and try again back to square one [&o]....any thoughts got me stumped

Mine does that occasionally, I figure it might be a connection or the control unit

I've never had this problem, but if you lock the car with the keys, but leave the window open, then on return unlock the door by putting your hand through the window & pulling the door **** up you will not be able to start the car. Even with the immobiliser off, it'll just crank. To solve this problem, get out of the car, lock the door with the key, unlock the door with the key, disarm the immobiliser, crank it over and it should start!

I hope this helps!?

Porker's 944 looks like it's painted Guards red to me.

Maybe the most popular Porsche colour ever?
