Default larger wheels imbalance

I keep hearing a lot of comments about wheels being unstable, i.e., vibrating, wobbling with wider wheels.Since I have a new set of Boxter S wheels and Yokohama AVS e100 tires and new Koni Sport shocks with a fresh alignment I'm concerned that installing these wheels with H&R 3/8" spacers (machined to fit my hubs on 87 944) and 14mm longer studs might encounter the same problems. I've done all I can to prevent any problems and wonder if I'm missing anything. Any thoughts?

Default RE: larger wheels imbalance

I've got 18" x 8" & 10" width alloys on my 944 & have never encountered any issuses with vibration. If you are suffering from wheel vibration, it's usually down to the tyres NOT the wheels! (Get the wheels/tyres balanced correctly and everything should be fine!)
