Hello all, Just recently became a Porsche owner since my dad passed away. Its a '84 944. The steering is locked and the key will not turn i've jiggled the steering wheel while trying to turn the key. Didn't work. Before he passed he told me that was all I needed to do and I know he could just jump in and go. Is this a common problem or is there anything else I could try? Any help would be great since it will be under water in 5 days with the flooding around here. Thanks

 

there are 2 pins in the entry of the ignition & they may have fell over.
they stand up on each side of the opening. you need to try to stand them back up.
