Default Ls1 conversion

I was wondering if anyone has completed an ls1 conversion into there 944 n/a. I have an ls1 in my garage that i have been rebuilding for a while, i was just wondering if anyone has any pics of there conversion and any helful hints in doing this conversion?

I think the LS1 Conversion is a touchy subject in this forum. I am not a purist though, sodoing a swap is something I am going to be doing in the future. I was going to do it on a Datsun 280z, but the porsche is lighter, and has better balance. How much did you shell out for your engine? The onlt thing holding me back is the cost of buying an LS1. I can't find one for less than $5,000.

i got the motor at a junk yard out of a 98 camaro it was a while ago but with everything i think i paid about 3,700.00 with the ecu and wiring. everything. but they are hard to get your hands on at a junk yard they go quick.
