Default Throttle Position Sensor

Hi Folks,
Having recently experienced what I've been told is called 'hunting' idling and power loss at 3000rpm, I've just purchased a new Bosch Throttle Valve Switch (TPS). Is this sensor difficult to install? It looks fairly straight forward ...but that's what makes me nervous. Would someone have some advice regarding installation procedure and adjustment requirements for doing it myself, or am I off to see the Doc?

one of the problems with the early 944 - 85/1 type cars - is that the DME is pretty rudementry - and is prone to stumbling and other " issues "
the BEST around this is to replace the early DME/ afm with another set from the later 85/2 cars and one more good thing about the update is that it can then be chipped !! -

click on this link and it will give you the list of DME's and AFM you can use
