RE: what kinda of performance
This is not a car to run at the drags. It malkes plenty of power and is easy to tune, but you will dump the clutch twice and will have to replace the clutch ($2500) and ring and pinion gears ($2500 if you can get a new transmission).

Willard is correct. While the cars will still run a sub 14 second quarter mile, they are not quarter mile cars, and if you try and make it one, you will find they are VERY expensive to keep running. If you want a 1/4 mile car, buy a mustang, not a porsche. If you want something to road race with, then a porsche is where you want to head. There isn't anything exciting about run a drag strip. Put the car on a road course in some DE events, and you will have a blast. Like willard said, all it takes is one 3k rpm clutch drop, and you will be replacing your transaxle or your clutch.

RE: what kinda of performance
It isn't exactly weak, but the car was built for road racing, not drag racing. You can put in a stronger clutch, then the weak point becomes the R&P. You can put in a stronger R&P out of an S2 which is hardened, but you will be spending some good money to do so.
