If you use wheels that are post 1986, you will need spacers. Your offset is 23mm and the later offset cars are 52.

thanks Porschedoc lastly i've heard theres a rare size of fuchs that are quite valuable. if so do you know the dimensions; so i don't unknowingly reduce the potential value and originality of the car for looks. thanks again for your time.

Your car can use any 911 fuchs which are the more common ones. The 944 Turbos need fuchs in a different offset in order to clear the bigger brake calipers, those are the much rarer version. On the regular 944 brakes though, the 911 fuchs fit no problem.

Hi all,
tell me to keep my big mouth shut if I'm wrong but, will you not need to fit lower profile tyres also?
This is to keep the rolling radius the same and your speedo reading the correct speed, is it not?

Obviously you would need new tires all together, since 15" tires won't fit 16" rims. You do not need a low profile though. Speedo will not change that much.
