Hi everone. First time here. My check engine light is not working (Po650). Already checked fuse. Any ideas?

 

What do you mean your check engine light is not working? It should only come on if there is a problem.

 

How do you know it is not working? If it is not on, it means nothing wrong, right???

 

Thanks for the response! When I start the car all the lights come on for a secondexcept the check engine light. I can't pass smog until I fix it.

 

That's the thing. I had a few problems, but the light never came on. I went to smog the car and the guy told me I had a few engine codes come on, but the light wasn't working. Could it be a burned out bulb? Any ideas would be great.
