Default conversion to manual
I have a 2000 boxter that has an automatic transmission. is it possible to get a manual tranny for it? would the price overshadow the cost of the car?

Yes, the cost would be quite extensive. You would have to change DME programming, all the cooling lines for the transaxle would come out, etc. It would be a large project.
