NAh,You pretty much guided me into, keeping myself from a bad raping.And I am greatfull.

The car has 60k miles and is 2001 convertable.Asking 10k prlly take 9k.Silver blk interior manual .
I see them from 22k to 28k
Would it be worth getting a used motor?

Would I be able to swap the motor w/me non porsche tools?Or is that also a dealer job?

There aren't any special tools required for removing and installing the engine. Once you get a used engine in it, you probably will have 16-17k into the car, and it becomes not that great of a deal.
