Default Floating feeling on hard turns but its not the shocks

Have a 80 911 Targa. Its been in storage for a couple of years. Got it out last weekend and when I do a quick turn it seems to be very very floaty. Almost scary at speed. My first reaction was to check for shock or strut bounce but no bounce there. Anyone have and other ideas of what it might be and ways to diagnose the issue.
Thanks!!!

Default RE: Floating feeling on hard turns but its not the shocks

I think when a vehicle sits over time the shocks/struts soften up because there is no play. If you start taking hard corners again it might stiffen up, also check your tire pressure because that might affect how the suspension reacts. If it gets real bad just replace the shocks/struts and get some nice thick sway bars.
