Was just driving my 02 Boxster home and lost all drive. Changing from 3rd to 4th, took my foot off the clutch, hit the accelerator and the revs just soared but no power to the wheels. Coasted to a stop and nothing in any gear.

Any ideas before I get it towed to my rip off Porsche garage?????

Either a CV axle came loose or your clutch let go.

Unfortunately I'm not massively technically minded. Is there any chance you could give me an indication of what either of the two problems are likely to involve to fix (i.e time and cost)???

Any answer would be massively appreciated.
