Default Thinking about purchasing an 02--need advice

So I found a great deal on an '02 Boxter S with only 30k miles. My concern is with the plastic rear window - I have owned four convertibles but have not had one with a plastic back. What drawbacks (other than the lack of a heated defrost) are there with the plastic rear windows? Is it possible to replace one with glass (and roughly how much would that cost?). Any other things I should be concerned about with the 02 Boxter S? Thanks for the help guys

Actually I prefer the plastic window much larger than glass. If the window is in good condition you can keep it that way with a little care.

When putting the top down, stop top half way and push the window towards the front in the middle so it "flods" evenly. Then put a soft "baby" like small blanket along the window so it does not crease put folds over the blanket. Hard to expain but you do not want to have it crease.

AND never leave the top down when you park the porsche long periods of time.

Do a google search for boxster top cleaning, I found some good cleaner protectant on web it is used for vynil window blinds. It cleans and even will kind of take out some of the scratches.
