Default 08 Cayenne Turbo Throttle Issues?

I recently sold my X4 4.8iS for a new Cayenne Turbo. I sure hope I made a good choice. To date the Cayenne has acted quit strange on the road. Generally in non-sport setting the car hesitates and there's a noticable thump in the drivetrain during moderate and slower acceleration on the open road. Sometimes, and in a growing number of instances, upon slow deceleration too. While it exists in sport mode, it is less noticable. So far Porsche has told me via the dealer, "...it's OK, drive it, it won't hurt anything, it's supposed to be that way..."! BS!!! Oh; in a $100k new vehicle. I don't think so!
I moved away from Porsche for many years because of a very similar bad initial experience with a new 928. I went to BMW and really had wonderful dealer and vehicle experiences. Now...not so much! [&o]
Anyone hear of or experience similar issues with a new Cayenne? I've formally notified Porsche NA and am waiting a response.

Default RE: 08 Cayenne Turbo Throttle Issues?

Hello,

Unfortunately it seems Porsche NA based in Atlanta, GA, care far more for
their dealers than their customers. This is especially the case for my friends
over in CA. Forgot about good customer service from your dealer, better
to find a qualified repair center with experience on your Porsche. All the
best!
