Belt Buzzer

RE: Belt Buzzer
What exactly is the issue? Does the buzzer still go off when the seatbelt is buckled, is that the problem?
Need more information to properly assess the issue.
More than likely it’s a computer error, blown fuse, maybe even a particular short creating the error. I’m not familiar with the Cayenne’s electrical system that is juts and educated assumption. However if you can find the schematics for that particular model (often found in the rear pages of your service manual(s]) it will be pretty simple to troubleshoot the electronics. Start with the wiring harness on the belt itself and move on from there. It could be as simple as a loose wire. But if its really that annoying for the time being you can simply disconnect the pezzo, however I highly advise against this.

RE: Belt Buzzer
It turns off when the belt is engaged. Although I always wear my seat belt, It can get annoying when your taking very short trips, i.e driving store to store in a mall parking lot. I was just wondering if there was a fuse dedicated to that noise, its not listed in the manual.

There is a fuse but it is attributed to several other items and probably would not be listed in your owners manual. I wouldn’t bother with it. You could mod a momentary kill-switch using the electric schematics, but that just more bother than worth. It's just as fast to engage the seat belt.

I too find the belt buzzer annoying, although I always wear my belt on trips of any length.
There should be a way to disconnect it.
Porsche technicians know how, but are prohibited from disconnecting it and/or telling you
how, due to liability issues (air bag response is apparently different in accidents where the
computer thinks you are wearing a belt vs. not)
Someone suggested finding the wire and interrupting it with a resistor that matches the ohms,
thereby convincing the computer that the belt is on all the time. If anyone knows how to do this
(where is the wire, what is the resistance, etc.), please let me know.
Thanks
