Guys, Sorry if this is a repost. I'm new to the Porsche world and i love it. I have a 04 Cayenne S with Tiptronic. My father tells me that if I put the car in Sports mode, I have to use the tiptronic buttons to shift up and down. I need some help. I need to know if its okay to drive it Sport's mode without using the shift buttons.

 

If you mean switching the shifter over to the left. Then you can actually let it autoshift at redline, or push it up or down at your own will.
