Hi, Did anyone ever hear this term? I have a noise every now and then When I start up my 05 Cayenne S after it sits overnight. Like when you turn the key after it is already running but not as harsh... Truck starts and runs fine all day. My mechanic says it is a common noise among Porsches...

 

Hard to say without hearing it. Does it happen as you are starting the car, after it is started, ??

 

It does it approx 1 second after the vehicle starts... A dealer told me it could be a misfire through the intake as I need plugs which I am getting my 60 K service next week.. An independent Porsche mechanic said that it is a commom problem and "all Porsches do it"...
