I installed an alpine ida-x200 into a 2000 996, now the alarm keeps going off, how can i get it to stop going off??? Do i have to ground a wire? Please help me, i can't lock the car without it going off.

 

Did you disconnect the ground wire off the back of the radio support frame? Usually that has to be disconnected with aftermarket stereos or you will have issues with the alarm. It is located on the drivers side rear of the silver metal frame.
