Default Help With Wheels!

I have a 2004 996 C4S that came with 11.5 x 18" rear wheels (295/30/18 tires). I like a pair of 19 x 10" rims (275/30/19 tires) that I would like to replace the original wheels with. The dealer says it would affect the drive of the car, whereas the wheel vendor is naturally saying this is non-sense. Any advise from others who are more knowledgeable than I would be appreciated. My e-mail is skigolf@yahoo.com. Thanks!

you might need more clearance with a larger wheel, and maybe check into wheel spacers.

Try Victor Equipment Wheels. Porsche Shop UK do a good deal on 19" Victor Equipment Wheels with Yokohama AdVan Rubber. Paul at Porsche Shop has sold a few sets to satisfied customers.
Thanks Big Bob

Usually this change in dimension of the wheels does not affect the drive but you must have them properly oriented as new measurements of wheels require an appropriate test before running the car on road.
