Would you buy 2011 911s cabrio now
Always, within a few months, there be a newer, more powerful, faster car offered by Porsche. That, and advertising the new model to generate desire and envy in you for the new model, is what they do to keep selling cars. It will not be any different with the newer, upcoming model. So pick a car that doesn't depoend on being king of the street to keep your love and interst.
If you find a current model you really like now, for a price you can afford now, buy it. Otherwise, wait for the new model, but also cast your net wider. Among other things, I can atest that an Aston Martin Vantage V8, prudently outfitted with options costs only about what the top end of the Carrera line costs, and although no faster (slower even) than some models, but is a MUCH more satsifying car to own - at least it was for me.
