I took my 73-1/2 911T for a ride this evening and it just stopped running. It will turn over start for a second and then die. I drove it for about 15 miles and it ran OK. About at the 10 mile it seems like it was sputtering a bit. The it just died. This has happened to me before do not remember what it was. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel distributer a year and a half ago so I do not think that its. I checked the box and I have a pop off and it seems to be in OK. Any suggestions? Thanks

 

Well, I would chec to see that you had fuel and fuel pressure, then ignition. If you have both and it does not run, you have bad problems. Likely as not one of the other is bad and you start there.
