Default looking into a 944

Umm i dont know if this is in the right section, but I'm looking into buying a 442 as mt first car(becuase I cant drive the Chevelle everywhere), and I want to know if theres anything I should look for when looking at one. Like any problems they have, frequent rust spots, engine problems, suspension issues, and interior issues, wiring problems ect... So if theres anything I should look for, I'd greatly appreciate it

Default RE: looking into a 944

Is this an Olds or a Porsche???

442 Olds are decent, best with the 455 motor, but the 350 they have is similar to that in the Buick GS and are a good motor as well. Typical American musclecar for rust etc- not much I know beyond that.

Porche 944 on the other hand- find one that has had the internal seals redone correctly (pretty much rebuilt), have the timing belt checked, and make sure there is no other glaring flaw- a nice looking one with all this done and everything in good working order will cost 4-10 grand, depending on the cosmetic shape/miles/turbo etc. Expensive to fix, fun to drive.

OH ok, cool...I'm either looking into the Porsche or a BMW 325e, which ever is cheaper and needs less work...or I'll just drive my Chevelle and wake people up and horrible hours of the night
