Default Rough Cold Idle

I did a search and found some useful info regarding the DME temp sensor. I think this is the same problem I am having and am wondering where is the best place to find this sensor? The car runs great after warmed up but upon initial start up runs very rough. There is a small elbow located in the rear of the engine (more towards passenger side) that has 2 vaccuum lines coming out of it and appears to be a brass sensor. One of the ears where the vaccuum lines connects is broken and might be the culprit, but am having a hard time locating this sensor. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Default RE: Rough Cold Idle

The broken sensor you have is the thermo switch. If that is broken, then you have a vacuum leak. You can actually just bypass that sensor, and connect the 2 lines with a male male connector and see if that solves it. The DME temp sensor is the blue sensor on the head, near the front of the engine (look down underneath the #1 intake runner). It has a square plug.
