Default Rough Idle

Guys,
I'm new to the forum and Porsche ownership. I have a problem with the 944 that I just acquired. When the engine returns to idle (after depressing clutch while in motion, upon startup, etc.) the RPM's dip down into the 7 to 800's for a brief second, and then return to normal idle. This of course causes the body to rattle and thus annoys me. Any ideas on what the problem may be? My first thought was a vacuum hose leak of some sort, but I cannot find any particular hose to be the culprit (mind it was a quick glance over the hoses). Any help is greatly appreciated!

Default RE: Rough Idle

That is pretty normal behavior if it is a breif dip. You can try adjusting the TPS, checking the ISV, vacuum leaks etc.....
