I just ordered a brand new carbon fiber console for a 997TT to add to the carbon fiber pieces that came with my car (steering wheel, gear shift etc..) I received it yesterday and to my dismay it has a greenish hue to it. The carbon fiber installed in my car is black and grey but the console looks like the black has some green in it. When I put it next to my brake handle I can clearly see the difference.
I was just wondering if this is normal or shall I send the piece back.
Some help would be appreciated.

 

I would certainly speak to the supplier, you do need the parts to match or it will look wrong and you will never be happy. Regards Big Bob

 

That's why I work with the dealer/installer. It's tough doing the mail order thing.
