You should get a C4, and a good set of narrow wheels with narrow snow tires for winter. That should do you. Do some research and get tires and wheels of minimum width - they will do you better in the snow. On a 996 these are size 205s. don't know about the 2006 997.

Just my 2 cents... I think you should get a 06 C4S. I've driven them all, and in my humble opinion, it's the best new car that Porsche makes. Drives the best, and looks the best! Good luck! (might I recommend Black with Natural Interior)

Silver hides dirt and swirl marks better, but nothing looks better than black immediately after detailing. Also, the extra wide rear end is kinda lost in the silver, but emphasized with the black... get the sport exhaust tips too! The best choice is what ever makes you happy, but you won't be dissapointed with that car... I'm getting one too, just gotta wait til next year....

If you do Porsche resale values with car color, they actually deduct money if it's black. Silver is better for resale, but you should ultimately pick the color that you like best.

You are right, C4 means 4 wheel drive. I would not bother with winter tires and just make sure the 4 tires on the car have good tread [sm=exactly.gif]
