Hello everybody,

I am looking to buy 2001 911 carrera. Until now I have been driving only Mercedes. While I was looking for my dream car I notice that on a lot of used carreras the engine or transmission have been replaced. Is that t something normal?

I will really appreciated if you guys tell me what I should look for before I buy the car, because I don’t want to end up paying a lot of money and then again paying more to replace engine or transmission.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

Hi if its your first Porsche I would look at the Official Porsche US Website of Used Cars to see if yoiu can find something you like. This way the car will be sold with 1 yerar Extended Warranty.
