Aloha!
I've recently purchased my first 911.
When coming to a stop, my brakes begin squeaking.
When I took it to the shop, they said my pads are fine, and that they have about 50-60% life left in them.
However, they said the rotors probably needed to be replaced. That's a $1400 job that I can't afford. The shop said I've got 10,000 miles left on the pads.

So my question is... do I have any other options?
10,000 miles will take me 3 years... I live on an island
I sure hope I don't have to listen to that squeak for 3 more years.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
