New to the forum and have been searching for a troubleshooting section with no luck.


A little background on the car I bought.
1983 944 with 93xxx miles.
Kid that owned it before me did not do the proper maintenance and the timing belt broke so I replaced the head.


The problem I'm having is getting it to idle. I can get it to idle around 1500 rpm and it smells rich. I've took it out and drove it and it feels and runs pretty good, its just the idle issue I cannot seem to solve.
