Default 1999 996 Purchase

Hello all, I'm new here but wanted to say Hi. I am looking hard at a 1998-2001 996. I've owned a boxster and it's time to step up to the 911. I've found many 996's in my price range and wanted to know if there is anything out there that will hurt/help, with regard to colors, options, etc., which car I buy. I've read the buyers guide, great write up, and am still learning about the car but here's what I am leaning towards and I would love advice. 1999 996 C2, silver with approx. 95K miles. Well optioned, I think. Priced around $20K with no warranty. All service work done. 30K, 60K, new clutch, no oil leak that I can see. It is from out of town and I plan on having a mechanic look it over before the purchase. Any advice?
