Default 996 TT S Chip upgrade

I saw an older post about this, but nothing up to date. Hence my question: Which chip do you guys recommend to upgrade my 2005 Turbo S? I looked at Upsolute - they offer it for $900 including local installation here in NJ. On the other hand the chip doesn't seem to be specific for the S model, and the older post also wasn't necessarily in favor. Looked at PowerChip - $2.5k, I have to do the installation myself, but they claim their chip was specifically tuned for the Turbo S model. What do other think? What is your experience? Any other chip I should consider?
Also - I'm primarily looking for a decent power upgrade that doesn't harm the car's electronics or mechanics in anyway. Daily reliabilitycomes before more power.

Hi I favour Revo see:http://www.revotechnik.com/products/....aspx?pvID=491
They have switcheable options which enable you to go back to stock, isolate the ECU so a thief will never get it to run again. An even more advanced oprtions to enable you to tweak the system yourself. Nor cheap but they are well engineered.

In many situations you get get what you pay for, and this is one of these cases. Changing the chip in your engine is a significant modification and I would only trust well established companies. Think GIAC.
