Ok so I am going to look at this 1975 911 that has 60,000 miles on it and before it was put away the motor was rebuilt. It has been sitting for a year and has not been started.
What has to be done before starting it?
What should I look at when buying a car like this as far as mechanics?
Also what kind of work should I expect to be done?
Any other advice?
Its maroon with tan interior. Interior is beat. Whats it worth?

Congradulations Million206:
You've asked a lot.
The 1975 911 Carrera motor is solid, so solid that a rebuild at 60,000 miles would make most wonder??? So besides an oil and filter change and a slow start (crank without ignition), I would look at all the belts, the windshield wipers, the washer fluid, the lights and flashers, and the air filter. Actually, I'd take it to a dealership and have them get it ready. It could cost a few hundred, but with car prices so low you can probably negotiate any price you want, and use the savings to make sure the car is ready for another 30 years of fun!
