Default Noobie seeks 911 purchase advice

Thanks for creating a very nice forum and for letting me register for free. I've searched a bit on the question in my subject line and that has helped but, if you're willing to help, please allow me to be more specific. If I finance a 911, I'd like to stay around $25,000 and I found a nice silver 1999 coupe in that price range with43K miles. From what I've read, the 1999 doesn't have any serious maintenance problems? I just sold my Alfa 164S so I'd rather not have somethingw/ an electrical problem every other week. I also like the look of the 1997ish 911s without the busy looking headlights - any particular year that is better than others? Lastly, I'm also considering a cash purchase but I'd have to stay in the under $15,000 range. Here is where I'm really lost - no idea what to look for in that price range. FYI, I don't need this to be my daily driver (but why not? it's a Porsche) so if it doesn't have A/C, I'll just drive my mindnumbingly boring Nissan Pickup in the summer.
