porsche wont start

Default porsche wont start
I have a 1969 Porsche 911T with dual carbs and points. I would like to know what are the symptons of a bad 8910 tach adapter ? If it is a bad tach adapter, would it stop the motor from starting ? Anyt help to getting my car started would be mostly appreciated.

I have a 1969 Porsche 911T and having problems starting it. If it is a bad tach adaptor, would that stop it from starting ?
