I have just received my new toy. It is a custom built slant nose with 500 ponies. It started as a 78' 911 SC and was built for SCCA racing (1/2 roll cage, Halon fire system, etc.).
The former owner never raced it because the paint and bodywork came out so well, he decided to show it instead. It has a 3.3 930 block bored to 3.6
with twin plugs, custom manifold, huge cams, ceramic coated headers, and a wicked exhast. I would like to switch the 915 tranny for a 930 tranny.
What obstacles am I going to face with this conversion?
