beware of wooden horses at the gate
I'v always heard if something seems too good to be true, well it prob is.
I'm stumped and was hoping to get some direction, to buy this 914 or run away!
So man selling a 914 in my area, havent test driven it yet, but he tells me it runs great, solid engine. the inside is shot, no biggie, he said it needs breaks, no biggie, but then he goes on to tell me it has custome exaust. its in middle and not to the side, and that I has a special engine with a twin carbarator. odometer shows 111k miles
So to top it off he only wants $1,000 for it. so i say whats wrong with it and he says besides the brakes, nothing. soo should i run, or try it out
