928 New Buy Phobia
Hi Guys,
I life in South Africa, and have done some considerable research regarding the 928 on the net. So, convinced, if I find the right 928, it will be a great car - reliable with lots of power etc. I have my eye on a '85 928s with 136000 km's on. From the pictures, she seems in very good condition. Next step to view the car. Can you guys please help me with some tips besides the obvious checks you do on a second hand purchase, pertaining to these cars. I do want to drive the car, and not be under the hood most of the time.

Well records of maintenance are the big things. Has the timing belt and waterpump been done recently, clutch, etc. 928's are very expensive cars to maintain, there are a lot of porsches you can own before being able to afford a 928 IMHO.
