Hi Guys,

I'm helping a friend out with his 944S but I don't have all the details at the moment. He's having a hard time starting it and from my browsing/searching on here I'm starting to suspect either the DME or speed/reference relays (he also mentioned something about fuel relay so I'm going off of that).

Can anyone tell me where these relays are and how to check them to see if they're working or not? I should make it over to his place this weekend to get all the details but in the meantime I can at least read up on some of the common problems to help diagnose and rule out certain things.

Hello, I'm having the same problem with my 85. Changed the DME relay worked fine for a few starts, now nothing. I made a jumper mto replace the relay as a get home solution, but now it doesn't work. Please let me know if you get some answers. Thanks, Fritz
