First of all hello!

I'm not a Porsche owner but I'm posting on behalf of a friend who is and has no internet access.

Right on to the questions...

His (1986) 944 2.7 has an auto box and has lost drive to reverse so he's on the hunt for a replacement box.

He's having some problems sourcing one and was wondering if anyone would have any idea where to find one or if any other cars in the VAG group would use a similar gearbox.

Heknows that some Audi 100 auto boxes will work but unsure exactly which year/model would work.

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated or if anyone has a box for sale and isn't too far away, ( Fife, Scotland but will travel for a good box) Pm me.
