bad fuel smell porche 944
i have a bad fuel smell at the front of the car there are no signs of a fuel leak.my car is a 944 non turbo
the car runs o.k.but at times it sounds a little chokey similar to the carb being flooded but it does not appear to be flooded.
any help would be appreciated.jim.

If you are smelling fuel, you probably have a line weeping somwhere, or an injector seal leaking. Sometimes you need good light with the car running to see the leak. Could be an injector seal, a small pinhole crack in the fuel rail, or 3 of the fuel lines. I would check everything very very carefully.
