hi everyone, ive been working on my 944 today and it started no problem in the morning. I tried it again in the afternoon and now when i turn the ignition on my center console dials dont work and it wont start. What the hell have i done, any ideas?

 

Is battery dead? Seriously, my battery kept going dead due to radiator fan switch failing and running fans till the battery was dead. Check the battery volts above 11vdc. Check battery terminals for corrosion. What kind of work were you doing on the car? Backtrack from there and see if anything electrical was affected. Good Luck

it sounds like an earth wire.
