Default Cooling Fan Relay

Found one on Ebay pretty reasonable, mine is an '86 na and it is from a '89 turbo. The top 2 rows of numbers do not match up, one row looks like it starts with the model year, but the bottom 2 rows of numbers that look like they describe the electrical components of the relay and are identical. Does anyone know for sure if this relay will work? It doesn't make sense that this relay would be different for turbos, but stranger things have happened.........

Uh, I dont think the relay changed at all between those years, but I'll have to open PET and do some looking.

From what I show, looks like the relays are the same for 85.5 and newer 944's whether it be a turbo, 8V, or 16V.

They are all the same,Porsche did however have a couple of supersessions so the late 2 numbers could be different.
