Default Door Handle Replacement

The lever in the passenger side door handle on my 944 has been borken off for some time now. Does anyone know if the lever itself can be replaced? I have been searching online parts stores and cannot find the part, only complete door handle sets.

The door trigger is very cheap pot metal. Since you will have to remove the handle to replace the trigger (you would have to have one from another used handle as they don't sell it seperately), you might as well just put in a handle that is assembled and good. This is a job that can be done in as little as 15 minutes, or you could be there 3 hours later trying to get everything to line up properly. Good luck!

Will any locksmith be able to re key the lock in the new handle to the key used for the original handle?

You can swap lock cylinders yourself (insert your key into the lock when doing so), or have a locksmith rekey it.
